Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Max Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sneek a Mouse Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sneek a Mouse Marley is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Max Powers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sneek a Mouse Marley! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers tries to clinch but Marley is having none of it. Powers throws a series of punches but Marley moves out of range. Marley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Powers! Powers trying desperately to get to his feet.
Marley controlling from the full mount. Powers is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Powers really wants to buck Marley off and get back to his feet. Marley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Powers is looking to escape. You get the feeling that Powers really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Powers is squirming around, avoiding Marley's attempts to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Marley looking to finish with strikes here!
Marley unloads with some shots from mount but Powers bucks and avoids them well.
Marley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Powers is looking to escape. Marley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

After a battle for position, Marley asserts his dominance and retains side control. Powers managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Marley.

Powers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Powers scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Marley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Powers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Marley has Powers in his guard. Marley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Powers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Marley fails to land the takedown. Powers lands a two punch combo.
Marley on the wrong end of a nice jab. Powers wants to clinch up but Marley keeps it at a distance. Powers missing with a left hand there. Marley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Marley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Powers works Marley's body with a nice hook. Powers lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Powers's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Powers duly obliges. Marley fails with the takedown. Powers lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A punch combination from Powers misses. Max Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Marley tries to close the distance and clinch but Powers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Powers tries to clinch but fails miserably and Marley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Powers's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Powers wants to stand and escape but Marley is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marley trying to control but Powers is working from the bottom. Marley is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Marley passes Powers's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Marley not doing much here.
Marley wants to pass to mount but Powers is defending the position. Marley is working for a kimura but Powers is defending it quite comfortably.

Marley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Powers is just riding it out for now. Marley eventually gives up the hold. Powers wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Marley is looking for a kimura here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Marley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Powers. Powers looks to land a combination but Marley avoids it well. Max Powers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A lazy left from Powers finds it's target. Powers lands with a nice combination. Marley backs away looking to recover.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Powers showed his dominance in that final round. I think Marley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
