Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between fabricio benedict (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Horse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horse tries to close the distance and clinch but benedict swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
benedict shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Horse sprawls well. Horse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. benedict gets slowly back to his feet.

Horse looks to move to half guard but instead benedict has passed into mount! Damn!
Horse wants to hold on but benedict pushes him away.
benedict is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Horse can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

benedict sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Horse bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

No joy there for benedict, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
