12 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuya Kimura! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mile Kekin! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura slips under a jab from Kekin. Kekin misses with a hook. Mile Kekin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kimura steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kekin. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kekin checks a leg kick. Kekin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kimura displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kekin throws out the jab. Kimura throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kekin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A shot to the liver by Kimura. Beautiful body shot. Kekin throws a big shot that misses. Kekin wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kekin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kimura can pounce on him.

Kimura will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Kekin is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kimura or not. Kimura is breathing heavily. Kekin scores with a nice hook to the head. Kekin lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kimura. Kekin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Kekin scores with a sloppy right hand. Kimura should have avoided that one. Kimura drops his hands momentarily and Kekin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kekin tries to clinch but Kimura moves out of range. A combination from Kekin does no damage. Kekin throws a shot to the body.
Kekin tries to clinch up. Kekin scores with a decent looking hook. Kekin clinches up against the ropes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kekin taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Kekin digs a right hand into Kimura's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kimura's gas tank. Kekin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kimura takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mile Kekin dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kimura uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kekin. Danga de danga de dang - Kekin scores with a four punch combination! Kimura avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kekin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kimura on the side of the head. Kekin wants to clinch. Kekin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mile Kekin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kimura seems to have got his legs back now. Kekin is looking to clinch. Kekin misses with a wild body shot. Kekin throws a right hand that Kimura ducks under and follows up with a left that Kimura also avoids with ease. Kekin lands a jab to the head.

Kekin drops Kimura with a beautiful combination! Kimura stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kekin is looking for the KO! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kekin connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kimura tumbling to the canvas! Kekin pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kimura was done - good stoppage!
