Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dick Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rashad Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.
Brown lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Brown scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jackson manages to mount him!
Brown is trying to reverse the position but instead Jackson has taken his back - oops!

Jackson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

and Jackson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Jackson wants the takedown. Brown is fighting it off but Jackson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brown's guard against the cage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brown has hold of Jackson's hands but Jackson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jackson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Brown to stand up.

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard.
Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown has the hooks in. Jackson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Brown is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jackson is defending well though. Brown let's go of the attempt for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rashad Jackson dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jackson tries to hold on but Brown pushes him away.

Brown jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jackson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jackson and Brown has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Brown. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Jackson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brown should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jackson has tightened it up now! Brown should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
