Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Wesley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wesley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminem - Go to Sleep. The key to victory for Timmy Wesley has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timmy Wesley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Earl Bennet! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennet throws a hook but Wesley blocks it. Wesley darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Bennet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wesley scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Nice defenses there by Bennet. Wesley throws a jab but it's blocked by Bennet. Nice uppercut lands for Wesley. That snapped Bennet's head back.
Bennet gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters circling - Wesley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wesley works Bennet's body with a nice hook. Wesley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bennet shoots in looking for a takedown. Wesley tries to sprawl out of it but Bennet keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wesley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed right hand from Wesley misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bennet moves forwards but Wesley connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bennet shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wesley misses with a two punch combination.
Nice uppercut there from Wesley. Wesley looks to land a left hand but Bennet moved out of range nicely. Wesley scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Earl Bennet has been cut. Nice defenses there by Bennet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Wesley as Bennet shoots in. Timmy Wesley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Earl Bennet. Wesley looks to land a combination but Bennet avoids it well. Wesley thows a body shot but no joy. Bennet avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bennet is defended easily by Wesley. Wesley throws a lazy right hand but Bennet sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wesley misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bennet slips under a jab. Bennet darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wesley regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bennet. Wesley is pulling down on Bennet's head to control his posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timmy Wesley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Earl Bennet's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bennet throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wesley counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bennet bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bennet uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wesley. A jab lands there for Wesley. Wesley scores with a shot to the body.
Bennet feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bennet working some strikes from top position. Wesley wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wesley has his hands on Bennet's head, controlling the position. Bennet working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bennet stopping the sweep attempt from Wesley. Bennet trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wesley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bennet is one step ahead there. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wesley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wesley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Wesley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wesley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A big right from Wesley misses. Wesley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bennet moves away. Wesley throws a shot to the body.
Timmy Wesley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wesley thuds a left hand into Bennet's body. Wesley misses with a looping right. Wesley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bennet accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wesley controlling Bennet's posture. Wesley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bennet shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bennet takes one on the button. Wesley thows a body shot but no joy. A big left from Wesley misses. Wesley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bennet throws out the jab. Timmy Wesley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Timmy Wesley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And that's the end of the fight! Timmy Wesley showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wesley, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
