Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryno Venter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chunk Dirty!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirty throws a shot from downtown. Venter moves away and avoids it.
Dirty cracks Venter with a good jab.
Venter avoids the body shot from Dirty.
Dirty displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Venter.
Dirty closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dirty lands an uppercut.
Venter tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dirty just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dirty lands a right hand that snaps the head of Venter backwards.
Venter goes for a takedown attempt but Dirty pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryno Venter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dirty throws a hook to the side of Venter's head but Venter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Venter throws a right hand that Dirty ducks under and follows up with a left that Dirty also avoids with ease.
Dirty lands with a right and another and another! Venter is in big trouble! Dirty lands again and this time it's lights out for Venter! A quality knockout there for Dirty.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chunk Dirty!
