The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Askren, as that shot connected.
Askren lands a jab.
Askren scores with the left hand. Hanks knows he should have avoided that one.
Hanks shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Askren sprawls well. Askren wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hanks gets slowly back to his feet.

Askren cracks Hanks with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hanks shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Askren defends it nicely.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hanks. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Askren cracks Hanks with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Askren drops Hanks with a beautiful combination! Hanks stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Askren is looking for the KO!

Hanks ducks into an uppercut from Askren and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
