Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Cobalt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Florian Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carl Cobalt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Florian Mir! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobalt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mir's waist but Mir gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cobalt off to one side. Cobalt lands a high kick!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cobalt is defended easily by Mir. Mir moves in looking to clinch but Cobalt pushes him off. Cobalt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mir swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Cobalt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mir misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cobalt drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mir controls Cobalt momentarily but Cobalt frees himself. Mir wants to sweep but no luck. Mir is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cobalt is controlling him. Cobalt looking to sit in guard and control but Mir gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cobalt, up you get! Mir with a lazy takedown attempt and Cobalt counters by clinching up. Mir is looking to break free of the clinch but Cobalt has double underhooks. Cobalt decides to pull guard. Mir trying to control the position from guard on top but Cobalt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mir being controlled here momentarily. Cobalt is looking to stand up but Mir isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cobalt wants to sweep but no luck. Mir trying to control but Cobalt is working from the bottom. Cobalt wriggles free and stands up. Cobalt is breathing heavily. Mir gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cobalt counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobalt looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mir is avoiding damage well.
Cobalt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cobalt stands up and beckons Mir to his feet. Cobalt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mir displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cobalt. Mir avoids the head kick by Cobalt.
Mir closes the distance and clinches. Mir lands a takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cobalt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mir stopping the sweep attempt from Cobalt. Mir throws and elbow that misses. Cobalt uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mir's guard. Nice move by Cobalt! Cobalt not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mir looking for a guillotine here but Cobalt defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Cobalt dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cobalt scores with a takedown into Mir's guard. Mir trying to control the position here. Mir will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Cobalt trying to control the position from guard on top but Mir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mir looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobalt postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mir is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cobalt, into his guard. Cobalt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cobalt seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mir wants to stand back up but Cobalt manages to pass into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir is trying to buck Cobalt off. Mir is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mir gets back to half guard. Cobalt is trying to control. Mir wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir is trying to maintain the position but Cobalt is very close to passing his half guard. Mir wants to get back to full guard. Cobalt has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Cobalt looking to control and managing it successfully. Cobalt lands with some strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mir is trying desperately to improve position. Cobalt trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mir is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cobalt working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mir turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cobalt off and cradles Mir's limp body as Cobalt celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Carl Cobalt!
