Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Echo Echo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Echo Echo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kobe Bryan! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bryan lands in his opponent's guard. Bryan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bryan won't allow Echo to sweep him here. Bryan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Echo's head. Echo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bryan with a flurry of punches that miss. Bryan thows a big elbow that misses. Bryan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Echo's guard. Bryan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bryan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Echo looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Echo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Echo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Echo stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Echo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bryan did well to prevent Echo getting side control. Echo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Echo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Echo's back! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Echo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bryan looking to finish Echo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Echo! Bryan is in the full mount, landing strikes. The referee warns Echo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Echo regains half guard. Echo pushes Bryan off but Bryan dives into side control.
Echo is trying to get back to half guard. Echo is not content to let Bryan control the position. Bryan staying calm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Echo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Echo gets back to full guard.
Echo has his foot on Bryan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bryan works his way back into a safe position though. Bryan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Echo looking for a sweep. Not yet Echo, not yet. Echo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bryan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Echo is breathing heavily. Bryan with a nice head shot there. Echo keeping moving, preventing Bryan from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bryan scoring with some ground and pound. Bryan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Echo looking for a sweep. Not yet Echo, not yet. Bryan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bryan postures up in Echo's guard and throws a big left but Echo blocks it. Echo is looking for a triangle but Bryan pushes his legs off easily.
Bryan postures up and lands a big shot to Echo's brow. Bryan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bryan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bryan wants to pass the guard but Echo is keeping the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Echo keeping moving, preventing Bryan from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kobe Bryan will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bryan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Echo trying to control from the bottom.
Bryan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Echo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bryan pulls his head out easily. Ground and pound from Bryan. Bryan trying to control the action but Echo is working from the bottom. Bryan prevents Echo from standing back up.
Echo makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Echo tries for a takedown but Bryan circles away easily and Bryan counters with a single leg into guard. Echo didn't expect that. Echo looking for a guillotine here but Bryan defends easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bryan trying to control the position from guard on top but Echo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Echo wants to sweep here but Bryan controlling him for the moment. Bryan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bryan's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bryan chips away with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Echo can't keep his opponent in guard - Bryan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bryan lands strikes from half guard. Bryan trying to control from half guard but Echo is working away. Echo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bryan won't allow Echo to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Echo keeping moving, preventing Bryan from controlling successfully. Echo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Echo wants to work for an arm triangle but Bryan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Echo prevents Bryan from improving his position. Echo is pressing down on Bryan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bryan is holding on for now. Echo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bryan is just riding it out for now. Echo eventually gives up the hold. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Echo is looking for a kimura but Bryan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Echo to get the leverage. Echo is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bryan still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bryan has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Bryan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Echo to see if he's OK. Bryan trying to control the action but Echo is working from the bottom.

Echo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bryan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Echo is working hard here to advance position. Bryan trying to control the position but Echo is working away. Echo is looking for a sweep. Bryan in side control, just content to control the action for now. Bryan looks up at the clock and then as Echo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bryan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Kobe Bryan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryan with a couple of short strikes. Bryan in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Echo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Echo is trying to control but can't.
Bryan tries to pass to full mount but Echo defends it. The fighters are battling for position here. Echo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Echo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bryan defends it easily. Bryan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Echo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Echo wants to get back to his feet but Bryan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Echo Echo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bryan cracks Echo with a solid left hand. Echo keeping moving, preventing Bryan from controlling successfully. Bryan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bryan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Echo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bryan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bryan passes Echo's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Echo is in trouble now - Bryan has advanced to mount! Bryan is landing with some decent strikes but Echo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bryan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Echo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Echo shrugs it off. Echo is trying desperately to improve position. Bryan working away from the top, dropping strikes. Kobe Bryan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bryan landing strikes from the mount. Echo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kobe Bryan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bryan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
