The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greco swats away the attempt to clinch by Terkin. Greco tries to clinch but Terkin moves away and Terkin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Greco's guard now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greco wants to stand and escape but Terkin is having none of it. Greco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Greco tries to get out of the position. Terkin wants to control from the top but Greco keeps moving. Greco wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Terkin manages to pass to side control. Terkin is trying to control the action in half guard but Greco is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Still in half guard, Terkin seems content to control. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Greco stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Greco wants it to stay on the feet. Terkin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
