Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salvador Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miika Liukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes into the arena with Mama said "Knock You Out" blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Liukkonen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nice shot lands for Alves.
Liukkonen shoots in and drives through. Alves sprawls well.
Liukkonen tries for a takedown but Alves sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alves has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
No joy there for Alves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Liukkonen wants to clinch up but Alves keeps it at a distance.

Alves ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Alves digs a good hook to Liukkonen's body.
Alves lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Liukkonen is rocked!
Alves sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Liukkonen's defenses. It connects perfectly with Liukkonen's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
