Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taai Taai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanha Nahka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taai comes into the arena with Snoop blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nahka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Taai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nahka swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nahka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Taai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Nahka's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Vanha Nahka's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Nahka misses with a short punch on the inside.
Taai will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nahka up against the ropes.

Nahka tests Taai's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
