Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darryl Deadwords (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darryl Deadwords! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Lashley! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lashley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lashley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Deadwords tries to get to full guard but Lashley has control of the leg. Lashley decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Deadwords is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lashley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Deadwords did well to prevent Lashley getting side control. Lashley seems to be working for a kimura but Deadwords defends the submission attempt. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Deadwords wants to get back to his feet. Deadwords on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lashley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. This has been an exciting period of action! Lashley takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lashley performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Deadwords knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lashley on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Deadwords tries to clinch up but Lashley circles away and keeps his distance. Deadwords wants to clinch up but Lashley keeps it at a distance. Bobby Lashley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Deadwords wants to sweep here but Lashley controlling him for the moment. Let's see if Lashley can do anything to dispel that myth. Lashley keeping moving, preventing Deadwords from controlling successfully. Lashley trying to keep a closed guard but Deadwords is proving a slippery customer.
Deadwords would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Deadwords stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lashley swivels though and keeps the full guard. Darryl Deadwords has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Deadwords is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Deadwords trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Deadwords tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lashley counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Deadwords! Deadwords wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Deadwords taking shots to the head. Deadwords tries to hold on but Lashley postures up. Deadwords is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bobby Lashley has got the better of the ground game so far. Deadwords tries to lock up and control but Lashley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lashley won't let Deadwords get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Bobby Lashley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Deadwords flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Lashley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lashley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
