Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Decent striking displayed by Horvat there. Moon looks to land a body kick but Horvat moved away. Horvat takes a body punch but keeps moving. Horvat shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Horvat's corner is telling him to maintain position. Moon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Moon being controlled here, momentarily. Moon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Moon looking for a guillotine here but Horvat defends easily.
Horvat trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Gunnar Horvat. Horvat moves out of range of the strikes. Horvat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Horvat closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Horvat lands in his opponent's guard. Horvat has gone for a leg lock! Moon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Horvat's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horvat keeping moving, preventing Moon from controlling successfully. Horvat keeping full guard, as Moon tries to pass. Horvat had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moon defends it easily. Horvat keeping full guard, as Moon tries to pass. Moon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horvat looking for a sweep. Not yet Horvat, not yet. Horvat is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Moon looks to land a combination but Horvat avoids it well. Horvat misses with a body punch
and Moon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Horvat! Moon is looking to stand but Moon has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Moon looking to control but Horvat is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Horvat is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horvat tries to lock up and control but Moon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Moon tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Horvat is desperately trying to improve his position but Moon has a good base and remains in mount. Horvat tries to hold on but Moon pushes him away. Horvat gets back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Horvat is just riding it out for now. Moon eventually gives up the hold. Horvat is refusing to be controlled, as Moon sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dwayne Moon dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Moon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Horvat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A right-left combo lands from Horvat. Horvat swings and misses with a shot to the body and Moon counters with a lovely shot to the body. Horvat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moon. Horvat looks to score with a jab to the body but Moon is just out of range. Moon shoots in for a double leg but Horvat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Horvat is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Horvat looks to score with a jab to the body but Moon is just out of range. Horvat scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Horvat bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Moon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horvat advances to mount. Horvat looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Horvat content just to control the position here. Horvat trying to control but he's not successful this time. Horvat pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Moon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Horvat swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Moon is now in Horvat's guard. A big mistake from Horvat there, giving up the dominant position! Moon trying to stand up but can't free himself from Horvat's guard. Moon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Horvat manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moon has Horvat in his guard. Horvat trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moon keeping moving, preventing Horvat from controlling successfully. Horvat passes Moon's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Horvat stalling. Moon is refusing to be controlled, as Horvat sits in half guard. Horvat is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Moon sees it coming and defends easily. Horvat is breathing heavily. Horvat is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Moon manages to get to full guard.

Horvat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Horvat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Horvat wants to control from the top but Moon keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gunnar Horvat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Moon throws a right and a left that both miss. Gunnar Horvat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horvat comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Horvat swats away the attempt to clinch by Moon. Moon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Moon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Horvat. Gunnar Horvat seems to be getting the better of the standup. Horvat slips a straight right by Moon. Horvat getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Moon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Horvat is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Moon rather than just go for the knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horvat feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Horvat stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Horvat advances position into side control! Horvat taking a breather here. Horvat is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Moon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horvat is figuring out what he wants to do next. Moon wants to control but Horvat is keeping busy.
Moon is trying to stand up here but Horvat is controlling him well. Horvat is looking to take a break and control but Moon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Horvat stays in close to Moon's body and controls the position. Moon keeping moving, preventing Horvat from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horvat looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Moon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gunnar Horvat has got the better of the ground game so far. Horvat trying to control but Moon is working from the bottom. Horvat slips nicely into half guard. Moon is staying active underneath Horvat, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Horvat closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Horvat trying to pass the guard but Moon defending well. Moon wants to get back to full guard. Horvat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moon keeps working. Horvat looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Horvat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Gunnar Horvat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Horvat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
