Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Franks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dux has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franks tries to close the distance and clinch but Dux swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Franks tries to clinch there but Dux circles away.
Dux shoots in but Franks avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dux fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Franks checks it well. Dux swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Franks tries to clinch up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dux circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dux keeps the fight on the outside. Dux decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Dux turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dux manages to end up in side control. Dux content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Dux working the ground and pound.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dux landing shots from mount. Franks is bucking up trying to escape but Dux cracks him with another couple of good strikes. A nice elbow there by Dux.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dux cracks Franks with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dux has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dux punching from mount but Franks doing a good job of avoiding damage. Franks is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dux cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Franks wants to control but Dux is having none of it. Dux with good strikes from the mount here! Dux content just to control the position here. The referee warns Franks that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dux lands a nice shot to the head. Dux controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Dux has got the better of the ground game so far. Franks keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dux is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dux is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dux not doing much here.
Dux is pressing down on Franks's thigh, looking to free his foot. Franks is holding on for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dux is just content to waste time from the top position. Franks takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Dux comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dux has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
