Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rikard Norling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Fei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norling comes to the cage accompanied by IN FLAMES - Cloud Connected . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zhang Fei!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norling waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fei.
Norling misses with a takedown attempt - Fei sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Norling bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fei prevents Norling from improving position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Fei's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Norling is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fei is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Norling goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fei has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Norling but great work by Fei.
Fei is trying to get an arm triangle but Norling is defending well.

Fei seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Fei might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Norling kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fei accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fei feints and as Norling raises his hands in defense, Fei changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Fei drops back looking for a leg! Norling is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Norling manages to kick Fei off! Fei jumps back into Norling's guard.

Fei postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Norling is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fei, into his guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fei throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Norling wants to control from the top but Fei keeps moving.
Norling passes Fei's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Zhang Fei showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Norling gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fei drops back, looking for a kneebar! Norling looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Norling looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Norling!
Norling is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fei knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Norling is pressing down on Fei's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fei is holding on for now.
Norling throws a strike but Fei avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Zhang Fei comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fei has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
