Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Capone has chosen The Godfather Theme Song as his entrance music. The key to victory for Alex Bader has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capone gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Capone pulls Bader into guard.
Capone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bader trying to control the position from guard on top but Capone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bader is looking to advance position but Capone has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Capone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Capone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bader gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bader wants to get up but he can't break Capone's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Capone has his foot on Bader's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bader works his way back into a safe position though.
Capone seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Capone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bader can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bader stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Capone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bader drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Capone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bader has Capone in his guard.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Capone closes the distance and pushes Bader back into the cage.
Still in the clinch, Capone scores with a nice short uppercut.
It looks like Alex Bader has been cut.
Capone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bader gets caught flat footed, as Capone shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Capone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Capone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bader swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Capone throws a big right hand that misses.
Capone is looking to work some ground and pound but Bader has wrist control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Capone is standing up over Bader. Bader looks to escape but Capone dives into side control.
