The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones II gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jackson misses with a short punch on the inside. Jones II misses with a knee strike.

That could spell trouble for Jones II! Jackson fails to advance to Jones II's back. Jackson tries to control but Jones II wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson is really struggling to control Jones II but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones II squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackson wants to clinch and Jones II counters by moving into the clinch. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice takedown defense from Jones II. No joy for Jackson on that attempt. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jackson has picked Jones II up - he's going for a ride! Jackson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Jones II pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.
Jackson tries to pass to full mount but Jones II defends it. Jackson is just content to waste time from the top position. Jones II takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Jones II keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones II has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Jones II's legs - danger averted.
And that's the end of the fight! Roye Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
