Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bull Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and cain sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sanchez has chosen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9Op2YQ7yyU as his entrance music. cain sanchez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
sanchez trying to control the position but Crawford is working away.
Crawford being controlled for a moment.
Crawford is looking for a sweep.
sanchez decides to stand back up.
sanchez instigates a clinch.
Crawford tries to pull guard but sanchez holds him up against the cage and eventually Crawford drops back down to his feet.
Crawford can't break the clinch.

sanchez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crawford keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Crawford stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crawford wants it to stay on the feet.

Crawford tries to free his leg and advance position but sanchez is retaining full guard.

Crawford postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! sanchez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Crawford, into his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Bull Crawford will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
sanchez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crawford's guard.
sanchez gets to his feet. Crawford looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Crawford counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as sanchez holds on and takes a little breather.

Crawford is keen to just control but sanchez is a slippery customer.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

sanchez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Crawford sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed sanchez 's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
sanchez has a closed guard, preventing Crawford from standing up.

sanchez is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Crawford to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Crawford shrugs it off.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

sanchez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
sanchez wants to work for an arm triangle but Crawford is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Crawford is looking for a sweep. sanchez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

sanchez decides to stand and escape the position.

Crawford jumps guard but sanchez stands there with Crawford around his waist. Crawford gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

sanchez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crawford manages to get himself to full guard.

Crawford shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and sanchez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Crawford!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bull Crawford. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Crawford is desperately trying to improve his position but sanchez has a good base and remains in mount.

Let's hope that sanchez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
