Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Opasnyi Dagestanec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyury Freire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freire bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dagestanec struggling a bit here.
Dagestanec manages to work his way to half guard, despite Freire's best efforts.
Freire wants to take a breather but Dagestanec is having none of it.
Dagestanec trying to control from the bottom.
Dagestanec is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Freire pulls his head out easily.
Freire is trying to control. Dagestanec wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Dagestanec wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Freire feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Freire stops Dagestanec from standing up.

Freire closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dagestanec to the mat! Dagestanec manages to get full guard.
Freire would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Freire working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dagestanec has his foot on Freire's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Freire works his way back into a safe position though.
Dagestanec is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Freire defends well.

and Dagestanec counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Dagestanec is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Freire sees it coming and defends easily.
Dagestanec is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Freire is just riding it out for now. Dagestanec eventually gives up the hold.
Freire wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Freire is defending against the submission attempts here by Dagestanec.

That's time! Dagestanec's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Freire shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Freire showed some decent athleticism there.

Dagestanec wants to improve his position but Freire is controlling well.

Dagestanec is refusing to be controlled, as Freire sits in half guard.
Freire tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Freire thows a huge punch but Dagestanec dodges it nicely.
Freire is looking to take a break and control but Dagestanec is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Freire lands a left and a right that send Dagestanec crashing to the mat, dazed. Freire thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dagestanec is rocked!
It looks like Opasnyi Dagestanec has been cut.
A head kick by Freire - that's a beauty! Dagestanec is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Freire can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
