Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jee Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Pitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitt has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jee Gee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Pitt! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pitt looks to land a left hand but Gee moved out of range nicely. Gee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pitt sprawls well. Pitt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gee gets slowly back to his feet. Gee closes the distance and clinches up with Pitt, looking for a takedown. Gee pushes Pitt against the cage but Pitt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pitt throws out a loose jab but Gee uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gee dodges the punch combination from Pitt.
Pitt misses with a low kick.
Pitt looks gassed! Nice sprawl there from Pitt as Gee shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jee Gee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gee avoids the head kick by Pitt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. No luck with that takedown attempt from Gee. Pitt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pitt tries to avoid it but Gee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pitt to the ground. Pitt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pitt throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Gee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gee shoots in but Pitt avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pitt throws a series of punches but Gee moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pitt looks to land a combination but Gee avoids it well. Pitt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gee. Gee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pitt avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Pitt dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee looks for a takedown but Pitt sprawls well. Pitt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pitt wants it to stay on the feet. No luck for Gee with that takedown attempt.

Pitt is fending him off so far but Gee persists. Nope, Pitt circles away and we're back to standing. Gee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pitt's waist but Pitt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gee off to one side. Pitt looks to throw the jab but Gee is out of range. Pitt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gee. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jee Gee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pitt tries a head kick but it misses.
Jake Pitt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. No luck for Gee with that takedown attempt. Pitt stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pitt throws a right and a left that both miss. Pitt slaps away a takedown attempt from Gee, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pitt defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pitt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Pitt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pitt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
