Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Cristo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jerry Cristo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raoul Duke! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cristo. Duke should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cristo shoots in for a double leg but Duke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cristo shoots in looking for a takedown. Duke tries to sprawl out of it but Cristo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Duke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerry Cristo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Duke's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cristo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Duke is controlling him. Duke lands a couple of digs. Duke working some strikes from top position. Duke cracks Cristo with a solid left hand. Duke controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Duke landing some decent shots from guard. Duke makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cristo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Duke is working Cristo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duke cracks Cristo with a solid left hand. Cristo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duke on the ground. Duke keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cristo's head. Duke postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Duke missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Duke with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cristo wants to get back to his feet but Duke is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Duke scoring with punches to the head and body. Cristo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cristo being controlled here, momentarily. Duke postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Cristo keeping full guard, as Duke tries to pass. Cristo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Duke controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Duke prevents Cristo from getting back to his feet. Duke postures up and lands a big shot to Cristo's brow. Cristo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Duke postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Cristo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Duke is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duke forces his way into half guard. Duke lands strikes from half guard. Cristo wants to get back to his feet. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Duke lands a nice short elbow. Duke is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Duke has eaten all the pies! Duke working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Cristo is not content to let Duke control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cristo pushes Duke off looking to stand but Duke dives back in and keeps control.
Duke takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raoul Duke dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Duke defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cristo. Duke shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cristo napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cristo taking a bit of punishment here - Duke scoring with strikes. Duke in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. He's worked his way up against the cage but Duke has just dragged him back down to the mat. Duke scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Cristo to see if he's OK. Duke lands a nice forearm strike. Check out the look on Duke's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Duke is working Cristo over with some ground and pound from side control. Duke is breathing heavily. Duke landing strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cristo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Duke prevents Cristo from escaping the position. Cristo seems to have got his legs back now. Duke scores with punches from side control. Cristo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Duke has just dragged him back down to the mat. Duke cracks Cristo with a big right hand but Cristo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Cristo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Cristo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Duke creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Cristo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Cristo pushes Duke away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Duke gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cristo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Duke has knee on belly and moves into mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. BOOM! Duke connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A nice elbow there by Duke.

He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Duke lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cristo wants to try and get back to his feet. Duke landing strikes from the mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raoul Duke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Duke keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cristo shoots for a double leg takedown but Duke sprawls well. He's pushed Cristo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cristo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cristo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Duke scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Duke lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cristo won't allow Duke to pass to mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice sprawl there from Duke as Cristo shoots in. Cristo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

And that's the end of the fight! Raoul Duke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Duke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
