5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jung Myung Seok! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myung Seok connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackson momentarily.
Myung Seok throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Myung Seok which made him look bad. Myung Seok is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Myung Seok. Myung Seok stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Myung Seok wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Myung Seok throws a leg kick that misses. Jackson fails to land the takedown. Jackson dives in and grabs Myung Seok's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Myung Seok keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass. Myung Seok is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Myung Seok looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jackson is one step ahead there. Myung Seok is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Myung Seok is keeping the position for now. Myung Seok keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Myung Seok is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Myung Seok tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Myung Seok throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jackson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Myung Seok is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Myung Seok won't allow Jackson to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Myung Seok is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold. Myung Seok is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jackson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Myung Seok defend it? Jackson steps over the head and cranks it - Myung Seok is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jackson!
