The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovits tries to clinch up.
Laine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ivanovits wants to clinch up but Laine keeps it at a distance.
Ivanovits pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Laine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ivanovits tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laine was well out of range. Poor timing from Ivanovits.
Ivanovits avoids the body shot from Laine.
Ivanovits scores with a leg kick.

Ivanovits drives through and clinches with Laine against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ivanovits pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Ivanovits is looking to control Laine's arms but Laine gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ivanovits has his back to the cage.
Ivanovits lands a left hand that snaps the head of Laine backwards.
Laine tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Laine is breathing heavily.
Ivanovits gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Ilmari Laine has been cut.

Ivanovits breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ivanovits's corner calls for a 1-2. Ivanovits obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Ivanovits throws a head kick but Laine moves out of range.
Ivanovits lands with a thumping leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ivanovits.
Ivanovits tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Laine paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ivanovits wants to clinch up but Laine keeps it at a distance.
Ivanovits fakes the leg kick and cracks Laine in the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ivanovits thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Laine if he has to take too many more of those.

Ivanovits moves into the clinch.
Laine goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ivanovits prevents it.

Ivanovits breaks from the clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ivanovits.
Laine sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ivanovits lands a left and a right that send Laine crashing to the mat, dazed. Ivanovits thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ilmari Laine's cut is getting worse.
Ivanovits cracks Laine with a left hook right on the temple and Laine goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Ivanovits lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Laine is OK!
