Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daryl Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ander Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Reign in blood. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward is looking to clinch.

Ward clinches up with Dog and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Ander Dog has been cut.
Ward slowing the pace effectively.

Dog can't get the takedown.

Ward lands a nice elbow.
Ward lands with a short shot to the head.
Ward is struggling to control the position.
Ward connects with a knee to the head.
Dog changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ward fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Dog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dog closes the distance and clinches up with Ward, looking for a takedown. Dog pushes Ward against the cage but Ward circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ward manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dog has Ward pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ward manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Well Ward has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
