Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Knighton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Madden Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knighton comes to the cage accompanied by Move by Thousand Foot Krutch. Danny Knighton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Knighton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Madden Rush! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Danny Knighton has been cut. Rush lands with a cross. A jab lands there for Rush. Knighton shoots in for a double leg but Rush sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Knighton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rush. Rush wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rush looks to land a combination. Knighton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Rush getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Rush scores with a leg kick.
Knighton on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Madden Rush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knighton is breathing heavily. Rush scores with a jab to the body. Rush connects with a looping right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knighton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Rush cracks Knighton with a big right hand and Knighton goes down!
Knighton is rocked! Rush's corner is telling him to maintain position. Oh Knighton is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rush missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Knighton seems to have got his legs back now. Rush is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rush with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush stands and throws Knighton's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rush controls the position from side control. Rush in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Knighton is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Madden Rush!
