Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louie Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louie Castillo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Davis! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Castillo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Davis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Castillo manages to get to full guard.
Castillo wants to stand but Davis is controlling the position. Castillo keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castillo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Castillo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davis is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis wanted to stand there but Castillo had control of the position. Davis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Castillo controls Davis momentarily but Davis frees himself. Castillo keeping full guard, as Davis tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castillo pushes a forearm under Davis's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Davis is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
