Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kid Frankenbeast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kid Frankenbeast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Randy Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogan tries to clinch up but Frankenbeast circles away and keeps his distance.
Rogan misses with a takedown attempt - Frankenbeast sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rogan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Frankenbeast tries to clinch but Rogan moves out of range.
Rogan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frankenbeast as he avoids it easily.

Rogan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Frankenbeast tries to avoid it but Rogan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Frankenbeast to the ground. Frankenbeast escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kid Frankenbeast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Rogan.
Rogan looks to clinch
and Frankenbeast connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Randy Rogan has been cut.
Rogan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rogan.
Rogan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Frankenbeast swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rogan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frankenbeast avoids it really well and circles away.

Frankenbeast clinches up with Rogan and pushes him back against the cage.

Rogan pulls guard.
Frankenbeast wants to stand and escape but instead Rogan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Frankenbeast is looking to stand up but Rogan isn't so interested in that idea.
Frankenbeast wants to get back to his feet but Rogan passes into half guard.
Rogan stops Frankenbeast from getting back to his feet.
Rogan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rogan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frankenbeast is just riding it out for now. Rogan eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Frankenbeast might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Frankenbeast misses with a series of wild punches.
Rogan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Frankenbeast counters with a two punch combo.
Rogan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rogan wants to clinch
and Frankenbeast counters with a series of strikes. Rogan will be more careful next time no doubt.

Rogan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Frankenbeast moves into the clinch.
Frankenbeast tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Rogan using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Frankenbeast has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rogan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frankenbeast walks away with a smile on his face. Rogan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Frankenbeast looks to land a left hand but Rogan moved out of range nicely.

and Frankenbeast counters by moving into the clinch.
Frankenbeast lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Rogan.

Frankenbeast throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rogans head.
Frankenbeast lands with a left to the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Frankenbeast.
Frankenbeast scores with a hook to the body.
Frankenbeast wants to break free but Rogan has control.
Frankenbeast tries to break free but Rogan pushes him back against the cage.
Frankenbeast lands a shot to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Frankenbeast's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rogan landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Frankenbeast has had enough of the clinch but Rogan keeps him there for the moment.
Rogan misses with a knee strike.
Frankenbeast lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Rogan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Frankenbeast wants to get back to striking at distance but Rogan won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Rogan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Frankenbeast wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Frankenbeast tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Rogan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Frankenbeast really wants to buck Rogan off and get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rogan looking to control and managing it successfully.

Frankenbeast wants to get back to his feet.
Frankenbeast trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rogan controlling the position easily from mount.
Frankenbeast is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Rogan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rogan won't let Frankenbeast get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy Rogan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Frankenbeast's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

and Frankenbeast counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Frankenbeast tries to clinch there but Rogan circles away.
Rogan wants to clinch.
Frankenbeast tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rogan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Frankenbeast. No joy for Rogan on that attempt.

Rogan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Frankenbeast but Frankenbeast pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Frankenbeast lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Frankenbeast wants to get back to his feet.
Frankenbeast scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rogan manages to mount him!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
