The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ji has managed to clinch.

Ji lands an elbow that stopped Centurion in his tracks for a moment.

Ji closes the distance and clinches.

The crowd are getting on Ji's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jeez, Vicente Centurion's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ji takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ji tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Centurion counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ji avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ji is trying to keep Centurion in close.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Centurion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Centurion tries to free his leg and advance position but Ji is retaining full guard.
Centurion throws a big right hand that misses.
Centurion landing some decent shots from guard.
Centurion throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ji works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
