Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Cruize (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoli Vassiljev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruize lands a glancing blow to the side of Vassiljev's head.

Cruize is looking to slow Vassiljev down with leg kicks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cruize catches Vassiljev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Nick Cruize seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruize cracks Vassiljev with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Vassiljev tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cruize pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Vassiljev is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Cruize!
