Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reptar Buhr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel Gutierrez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reptar Buhr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Gutierrez! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gutierrez throws a sloppy head kick and Buhr moves out of range easily. Buhr looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Gutierrez misses with a head kick.
Buhr slaps away a takedown attempt from Gutierrez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gabriel Gutierrez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Buhr blocks a head kick by Gutierrez.
A head kick misses from Gutierrez. Gutierrez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buhr stuffs the takedown attempt from Gutierrez. Gutierrez gets slowly back to his feet. Gutierrez fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Reptar Buhr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Gutierrez. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buhr tries for a takedown but Gutierrez circles away easily and Gutierrez counters with a shoot takedown. Buhr fights it but they end up in guard. Buhr keeping full guard, as Gutierrez tries to pass. That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gutierrez stays in close to Buhr's body and controls the position. Gutierrez trying to control but Buhr is working from the bottom. Buhr controls Gutierrez momentarily but Gutierrez frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gutierrez wanted to stand there but Buhr had control of the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A head kick misses from Gutierrez. Gutierrez throws a sloppy head kick and Buhr moves out of range easily. Gutierrez throws a head kick that misses. Buhr leaves Gutierrez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gutierrez throws a head kick but Buhr moves out of range.

Gutierrez misses with a takedown attempt and Buhr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gutierrez! Buhr looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gutierrez wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buhr wants to finish this one by submission but Gutierrez is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Buhr. Gutierrez squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Gutierrez. Gutierrez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buhr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gutierrez somewhat.

Gutierrez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Buhr stops Gutierrez from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gutierrez throws a head kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gutierrez wants to get back to his feet but Buhr is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Buhr seems to be working for a kimura but Gutierrez defends the submission attempt. Buhr prevents Gutierrez from standing back up.

Buhr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buhr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Reptar Buhr showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buhr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
