Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gus Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gus Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Adams! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Adams. Adams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Taylor lands a nice hook to Adams's body. Adams takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Taylor comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Taylor with a body punch. A glancing blow. Taylor scores with a body shot.

Adams on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Taylor comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Taylor cracks a nice hook into Adams's ribs. Taylor lands with a good body shot. Taylor keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Taylor, as that shot connected.
Adams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Taylor digs a good body shot into Adams's ribs. Taylor stuns Adams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Taylor with a body punch. A glancing blow. Taylor lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Taylor lands a really nice looking cross but Adams seems unphased.

Adams walks into a jab. Taylor digs a good body shot into Adams's ribs. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Adams crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Taylor - the referee stops the clock and Adams gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Taylor. Adams manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Adams takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tony Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taylor punishes Adams's body with a nice straight punch. Taylor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Taylor scores with a push kick. Taylor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Adams managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Taylor.

Adams is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taylor scoring with punches and elbows. Adams is still in real trouble! Can Taylor finish him? Taylor misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Adams seems to have recovered his senses. Taylor is putting a hurting on Adams here, landing some big shots from side control. Taylor throws a strike aimed at the side of Adams's head but Adams avoids it well. Taylor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Adams knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Taylor throws an elbow but Adams slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Taylor lands a few punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taylor working the ground and pound but Adams is defending the strikes. Taylor lands a decent elbow from side control. Taylor wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Adams, who protects the arm well. Taylor working the ground and pound. Taylor tries for a kimura but Adams is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor cracks Adams with an elbow. That is naaassty. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Taylor is trying to get an arm triangle but Adams is defending well. Adams wants to get back to his feet. Taylor working the ground and pound. Taylor has an Americana. Adams didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Taylor is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Taylor hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
