PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Karl Jonas Angstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aruki Masura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masura tries to clinch but Angstrom is having none of it.
Angstrom shoots for a double leg takedown but Masura sprawls well. He's pushed Angstrom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Angstrom drops back, looking for a kneebar! Masura looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Masura looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Masura!

Masura is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Angstrom looks calm but he's in trouble here. Masura gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Angstrom is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Masura lets go of the hold and Angstrom can pop his arm back in it's socket.
