Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Welbeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anders Melin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welbeck fails to land the takedown.

Welbeck pushes Melin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Melin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Welbeck's head.
Melin throws and elbow that misses. Welbeck uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Melin's guard. Nice move by Welbeck!
Welbeck wants to control from the top but Melin keeps moving.

Anders Melin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Melin manages to get his head free but now Welbeck has transitioned to an armbar! Melin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Welbeck! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
