Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Untlicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Brutus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Untlicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Brutus!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Untlicker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Brutus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Untlicker sprawls well initially but Brutus persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Brutus lands with a punch from half guard.
Untlicker tries to get to full guard but Brutus has control of the leg.
Brutus wants to take a breather but Untlicker is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brutus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Brutus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Brutus connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Brutus tries to control but Untlicker wriggling away.

Untlicker is looking to get to half guard.
Brutus lands a big shot there that rocks Untlicker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Brutus is landing with some decent strikes but Untlicker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Untlicker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Brutus with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Brutus is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Untlicker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Untlicker shrugs it off.

Brutus is landing with some decent strikes but Untlicker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brutus wants to control the pace but Untlicker is squirming around nicely.
Brutus is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Untlicker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Untlicker tries to hold on but Brutus pushes him away.

Brutus jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Untlicker is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Untlicker and Brutus has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Brutus works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brutus wants to control but Untlicker is keeping him busy.

Untlicker tries to improve position but can't.

Brutus is trying to get an arm triangle but Untlicker is defending well.
Untlicker takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Brutus works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Brutus blocks the strikes from Untlicker.
Brutus trying to control the action but Untlicker is working from the bottom.
Brutus lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Untlicker down.
Brutus looks up at the clock and then as Untlicker takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Brutus smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Untlicker is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Brutus controls the position from side control.
Untlicker taking punishment in the form of punches.

Brutus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Untlicker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Brutus is looking to take a break and control but Untlicker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brutus lands some shots froms side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Horrible takedown by Brutus or perhaps it was just good defense by Untlicker which made him look bad.

Brutus is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Untlicker's half guard.
Untlicker is looking to improve his position.

Untlicker is desperately trying to improve his position but Brutus has a good base and remains in mount.
Untlicker flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Brutus in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Brutus lands a nice shot to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brutus lands a heavy elbow.
Brutus pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brutus lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Brutus looking to isolate an arm here. Untlicker doesn't see it coming and as Brutus extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Brutus!
