The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derksen closes the distance and clinches.
Adama works on Derksen's body with a couple of short punches.
A short body shot lands from Derksen as the two fighters clinch.
Adama is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Derksen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Adama.
Still in the clinch, Derksen scores with a nice short uppercut.
Derksen wants a takedown.
Derksen blocks an uppercut.
Derksen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Derksen gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Derksen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Adama does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Adama tries to get to full guard but Derksen has control of the leg.
Derksen works his foot free and advances to mount.

Derksen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Derksen has hold of Adama's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Adama manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
