Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Midnight Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Corey Jr!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beast drops back, looking for a kneebar! Corey Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Corey Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Corey Jr!

Beast has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Corey Jr's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Beast jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Corey Jr is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Corey Jr and Beast has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Beast goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Corey Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Beast but great work by Corey Jr.

Corey Jr lands a head kick. Beast smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

That was a close second round but I would say that Midnight Beast will probably get the nod.
