Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Luc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Floorman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Luc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Floorman! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Floorman misses with a double jab.
Floorman shoots in for a takedown but Luc shows good takedown defense. Floorman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Luc gets full guard. Floorman trying to control the position from guard on top but Luc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Luc pulls Floorman in close to prevent any damage. Luc looking to hit a scissor sweep but Floorman is one step ahead there. Luc bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Floorman's guard. Luc slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Luc thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Luc trying to control but Floorman is working from the bottom. Floorman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Luc is one step ahead there. Floorman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Luc stays in close to Floorman's body and controls the position. Luc pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Floorman is keeping the position for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Floorman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Luc sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Floorman somewhat. Luc darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Luc is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Floorman is just riding it out for now. Luc eventually gives up the hold. Floorman wants to control but Luc is keeping busy and won't allow it. Floorman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Luc trying to control but Floorman is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Luc drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Luc jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Luc might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Luc trying to control the position from guard on top but Floorman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Luc won't allow Floorman to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Floorman working a defensive guard but Luc passes into half guard.

Floorman struggling a bit here. Luc working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jean Luc is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Jean Luc showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Luc, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
