Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Willis Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tek O Brian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Brian is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Type O Negative - Black No. 1. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves tries to clinch there but O Brian circles away.
O Brian walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Tek O Brian has been cut.
Alves misses with a hook. O Brian ducked under it nicely.
Alves fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with O Brian, pushing him back against the cage.
A hook to the body from Alves.
O Brian breaks from the clinch.
Tek O Brian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves uses good head movement to avoid the hook from O Brian.
Alves lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - O Brian can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Alves and O Brian drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Alves.
