The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy fails in his attempt to clinch.

Pack feints and as Hardy raises his hands in defense, Pack changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pack postures up in Hardy's guard and throws a big left but Hardy blocks it.

Pack stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pack wants it to stay on the feet.

Hardy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Pack counters with a straight right hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hardy wants to clinch
and Pack connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pack is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hardy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Horrible takedown by Pack or perhaps it was just good defense by Hardy which made him look bad.
