Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brat Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Zheldov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitman comes to the ring accompanied by Nero - Innocence . This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brat Hitman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Zheldov!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zheldov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hitman's waist but Hitman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zheldov off to one side.
Hitman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hitman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zheldov defends it nicely.
Zheldov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hitman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hitman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zheldov shoots in for a takedown but Hitman shows good takedown defense.
Hitman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zheldov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zheldov digs a good hook to Hitman's body.

Zheldov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hitman sprawls well initially but Zheldov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hitman flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hitman is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Hitman is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hitman wants to control but Zheldov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Zheldov winds up and cracks Hitman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Zheldov wants to stand but Hitman has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Hitman has his hands clasped together around Zheldov's back. He's all about the action.

Zheldov decides to return to a standing position.
Zheldov misses with a takedown

and Hitman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hitman.
Brat Hitman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Zheldov.

Hitman throwing strikes but missing.
Hitman wants to control from the top but Zheldov keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zheldov is on top in guard.
Zheldov won't allow Hitman to sweep him here.

Zheldov passes Hitman's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Zheldov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hitman's head.

Hitman actively working from the bottom here.
Zheldov trying to mount his opponent but Hitman defends it.
Zheldov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hitman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zheldov is working away from the top position though.
Zheldov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zheldov misses with a takedown attempt

and Hitman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hitman tries to stall but Zheldov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Zheldov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Zheldov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Zheldov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hitman's half guard.
Hitman tries to kick Zheldov off but Zheldov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hitman trying to control here.
Hitman is trying to stand.
Hitman wants to control but Zheldov is keeping busy.
Hitman tries to roll over but Zheldov keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hitman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Zheldov paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Zheldov throws a right hand that Hitman ducks under and follows up with a left that Hitman also avoids with ease.
Hitman with a lazy takedown attempt
and Zheldov counters with a two punch combo.
Zheldov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hitman tries to avoid it but Zheldov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hitman to the ground. Hitman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Zheldov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hitman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Zheldov cracks Hitman with a big right hand but Hitman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Zheldov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hitman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hitman is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zheldov off and has taken his back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hitman is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hitman is trying to control but Zheldov is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Zheldov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hitman tries to control but Zheldov wriggling away.
Zheldov wants to hold on but Hitman pushes him away.

Zheldov is squirming around, avoiding Hitman's attempts to control the action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fedor Zheldov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Hitman shoots in looking for a takedown. Zheldov tries to sprawl out of it but Hitman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Zheldov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for Hitman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hitman takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Zheldov gets the takedown into side control.

Zheldov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hitman to his feet.
Hitman shoots and misses

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zheldov shoots in for a double leg but Hitman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Zheldov keeps the fight on the outside.

and Zheldov counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hitman's guard now.
