Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remy Garmin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry has chosen Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber as his entrance music. Dean Perry has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Remy Garmin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garmin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Perry trying to control here.
Garmin wants to free his trapped foot but Perry is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Garmin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Perry sees it coming and defends easily.
Perry has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Garmin is working away from the top position though.
Garmin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Perry won't allow Garmin to pass to mount.
Perry avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Garmin.
Garmin is trying to control. Perry wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Garmin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Perry misses with a looping left.
Garmin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Garmin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Perry looks to land a right hand but Garmin moved out of range.
Garmin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Perry.
Perry lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Garmin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Perry to score with a decent uppercut.
Perry lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Perry changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Perry throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Garmin stumbling backwards into the cage! Garmin bounces back off the cage towards Perry, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Perry lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Perry celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dean Perry!
