Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cristiano Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shibukawa Gouki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cristiano Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shibukawa Gouki!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gouki slips a jab from Halo.
Halo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gouki is out of range and Halo settles back down.
Halo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Halo throws a lazy right hand but Gouki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gouki chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Halo can pounce on him.
Gouki shoots for a takedown but Halo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Halo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gouki is able to avoid easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gouki checks a leg kick.
Halo stuffs the takedown attempt from Gouki. Gouki gets slowly back to his feet.
Halo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halo connects with a right hand. Gouki shakes it off.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Gouki might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Halo has got the better of the exchanges.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gouki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gouki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Halo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Gouki has his hands clasped together but Halo extends an breaks Gouki's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Halo.
