Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joel Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Piotrowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bailey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome to the TerrorDome. Marcin Piotrowski will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcin Piotrowski!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piotrowski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bailey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Piotrowski is trying to stand back up but Bailey is controlling him
Bailey takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bailey prevents Piotrowski from standing back up.
Bailey is taking a breather. Piotrowski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Piotrowski is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bailey in particular looking to stall.
Piotrowski wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bailey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Piotrowski is just riding it out for now. Bailey eventually gives up the hold.
Piotrowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bailey works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bailey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Piotrowski is squirming around, avoiding Bailey's attempts to control the action.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bailey cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bailey lands a big shot there that rocks Piotrowski but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Bailey working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Piotrowski turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bailey off and cradles Piotrowski's limp body as Bailey celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Joel Bailey!
