Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Kleber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darin McFarlain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Klaus Kleber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darin McFarlain! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McFarlain throws a sloppy head kick and Kleber moves out of range easily. Kleber gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kleber wants to break free but McFarlain has control.
Kleber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kleber missing with knees to the body.
McFarlain keeps control of Kleber as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kleber is looking to break free of the clinch but McFarlain has double underhooks. McFarlain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McFarlain goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kleber tries to clinch up but McFarlain circles away and keeps his distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Kleber looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kleber closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McFarlain to the mat! McFarlain manages to get full guard. McFarlain wants to stand up but Kleber is controlling him. Kleber has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kleber wants to control from the top but McFarlain keeps moving. McFarlain preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. McFarlain is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kleber is controlling him. Kleber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McFarlain swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. McFarlain tries to clinch there but Kleber circles away.

Kleber closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kleber lands in his opponent's guard. Kleber is breathing heavily. Kleber stands up and waves to McFarlain to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McFarlain with a poor takedown and Kleber counters with a stiff right hand. Kleber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice sprawl there from McFarlain as Kleber shoots in. A left and a right from McFarlain both land. Nice combination. McFarlain fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kleber knocks McFarlain to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
McFarlain is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kleber controls the position. McFarlain is still in real trouble! Can Kleber finish him? Kleber's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Kleber cracks McFarlain with an elbow. That is naaassty. McFarlain pushes Kleber away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kleber gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kleber has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. McFarlain seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McFarlain tries for a takedown but Kleber sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Klaus Kleber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darin McFarlain. Kleber takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. McFarlain throws a sloppy head kick and Kleber moves out of range easily. The fight stays on the outside here - McFarlain looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McFarlain doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kleber counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. McFarlain is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kleber shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McFarlain moves in looking to clinch but Kleber pushes him off. McFarlain throws a right and a left that Kleber avoids nicely. McFarlain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kleber tries to clinch but McFarlain moves out of range. McFarlain fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kleber wants to clinch up but McFarlain keeps it at a distance. Kleber drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kleber cracks McFarlain with a solid left hand. McFarlain is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McFarlain manages to escape and get back to his feet.
McFarlain gets a clinch. McFarlain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McFarlain closes the distance but Kleber moves to the side and Kleber counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kleber takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McFarlain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McFarlain is looking to clinch but Kleber is avoiding it.

Kleber just stands there and leans against the cage. Kleber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McFarlain has had enough of the clinch but Kleber keeps him there for the moment. Kleber has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McFarlain clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kleber scores with punches to the body. Kleber lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Kleber.
McFarlain controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Kleber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McFarlain covering up well under a barage of strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McFarlain holding both Kleber 's hands and preventing any damage. Kleber is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Kleber misses with a punch to the head. Kleber wants to control but McFarlain is keeping busy. McFarlain trying to get back to his feet but Kleber is in full control for now. Kleber is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. McFarlain is defending well though. Kleber let's go of the attempt for now. Kleber lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. McFarlain trying to get back to his feet but Kleber is in full control for now. McFarlain is taking damage to the body and head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McFarlain is trying to get back to his feet but Kleber has full control of the position and if anything, McFarlain has just worked his way into a worse spot. McFarlain is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. McFarlain avoids the strikes from Kleber. McFarlain avoids the strikes from Kleber. McFarlain shoots in for a double leg but Kleber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. McFarlain looks to clinch and Kleber counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McFarlain's guard now. Kleber pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McFarlain is keeping the position for now. Kleber wants to get up but he can't break McFarlain's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Klaus Kleber overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kleber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McFarlain swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kleber gets to his feet. McFarlain looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kleber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McFarlain's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McFarlain wants to get back to his feet but Kleber passes into half guard.

McFarlain kicks Kleber off and gets back to his feet. No joy there for Kleber, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McFarlain throws a combination. Kleber tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kleber rushes McFarlain and presses him up against the cage. Kleber jumps guard and drags McFarlain to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. McFarlain stops Kleber from standing up. McFarlain wanted to stand there but Kleber had control of the position. McFarlain stands up and waves to Kleber to follow him. McFarlain lands with an uppercut that bounces Kleber off the cage and back into rage. Kleber wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McFarlain throws a head kick that misses and Kleber counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kleber. Kleber won't allow McFarlain to get back to his feet. Kleber keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McFarlain's head. McFarlain has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kleber off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. McFarlain clinches but Kleber breaks the clinch and Kleber counters with a big head kick but McFarlain shrugs it off. McFarlain plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McFarlain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kleber tries to avoid it but McFarlain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kleber to the ground. Kleber escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Darin McFarlain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McFarlain scores with a head kick.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McFarlain. Klaus Kleber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darin McFarlain. Kleber fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Kleber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McFarlain's guard. McFarlain pushes Kleber off and scrambles back to his feet.

McFarlain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McFarlain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McFarlain with a lazy takedown attempt and Kleber counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kleber slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from McFarlain. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McFarlain lands with a few short shots to the body. Kleber blocks the strikes from McFarlain.
McFarlain is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kleber pulls his head out easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Klaus Kleber showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kleber, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
