The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Franklin Dexteria will probably get the nod.

Dexteria tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wenkel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wenkel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dexteria napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wenkel is working to tighten is grip on Dexteria's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dexteria has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wenkel is really squeezing tight and eventually Dexteria passes out! Wenkel breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
