The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Czech lands with a cross.
It looks like Murilo Ruas has been cut.
Czech scores with a nice head shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ruas fails with the takedown.
Czech cracks Ruas with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Czech has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ruas to stand back up!
Ruas is rocked!
Ruas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ruas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Czech's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Czech keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Czech on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Czech tries to get out of the position.
Ruas tries to control but Czech wriggling away.
Czech tries to lock up and control but Ruas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Czech is looking to improve his position but Ruas isn't that keen on the idea.

Czech is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Ruas trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Ruas looks gassed!

Ruas prevents Czech from getting the reversal.
Ruas wants to control the pace but Czech is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ruas trying to control but Czech is having none of it.

Czech is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Czech can't escape the position.
Czech sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Ruas is trying to control the action in half guard but Czech is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Czech wants to improve his position but Ruas is controlling well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Czech works the jab nicely.
Czech stuns Ruas with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Czech scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ruas in his tracks.

Ruas needs to keep his hands up - Czech had a free shot at his head there.
That has opened up Murilo Ruas's cut even more.
Peter Czech is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Czech tests Ruas's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ruas is still on wobbly legs! Can Czech finish him?
Czech drops Ruas with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ruas looks back up at him and smiles so Czech waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Czech drops Ruas with a straight right hand, right on the button! Czech follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
