Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between King Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Irons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irons has chosen Get On Your Knees - Age Against the Machine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Frank Irons has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Cobra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Irons! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobra is trying hard to land a takedown here. Irons sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Cobra looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Irons will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Irons slaps away a takedown attempt from Cobra, before circling back to the center of the mat. Irons misses with a wild combination.
Cobra has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Cobra. That's going to take a lot out of him. Irons misses with the combination.
Cobra scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cobra is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Irons to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Irons shrugs it off. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Irons is trying to escape the mount.
Cobra thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Irons really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobra avoids the attempt from Irons to control. Irons is looking to improve his position but Cobra isn't that keen on the idea. Poor strikes thrown by Cobra there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Irons slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Irons is pressing down on Cobra's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Irons scores with a nice shot. Irons looking to control.
Cobra avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Irons looking for a sweep. Not yet Irons, not yet. Cobra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Irons manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cobra has Irons in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irons postures up in Cobra's guard and throws a big left but Cobra blocks it. Irons is pushing down on Cobra's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cobra is fighting to maintain full guard but Irons has managed to sneak the leg through. Irons trying to control the pace. Irons tries to pass to full mount but Cobra defends it. Irons has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Irons is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cobra can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Irons wants to control the pace but Cobra is squirming around nicely. Cobra can't escape the position.
Irons get's back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cobra showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Irons.
Irons scores with a jab. Irons rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cobra moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Irons misses with a double jab.
Irons throws a hook but Cobra avoids it easily. Irons goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Irons swinging wildly here.

Irons cracks the inside of Cobra's front leg. Nice shot by Irons. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Irons dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Irons throws a right hand that Cobra ducks under and follows up with a left that Cobra also avoids with ease. Irons throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cobra. Cobra avoids the body shot from Irons.
Irons stuffs the takedown attempt from Cobra. Cobra gets slowly back to his feet. Some wild striking there from Irons.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Irons throws a right hand that Cobra ducks under and follows up with a left that Cobra also avoids with ease. King Cobra is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Irons lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Irons jabs Cobra right on the nose. Cobra blinks but takes it well.

Irons lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Irons works over Cobra's head and body with a nice combination. Frank Irons is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cobra shoots for a double leg takedown but Irons sprawls well. He's pushed Cobra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cobra drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A telegraphed right hand from Irons misses the target. Irons with a body punch. A glancing blow. No joy there for Irons, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Irons throws a chopping leg kick but Cobra manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Irons throws a series of punches but Cobra avoids them all with ease. Nice takedown defense from Irons. No joy for Cobra on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Cobra. That's going to take a lot out of him. Irons will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cobra steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Irons. Irons stalks Cobra and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cobra's face. Cobra staggers backwards, shaken. Cobra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Irons tries to strike but it doesn't land. Cobra tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Irons is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Cobra thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobra is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Irons doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cobra. Cobra tries to pass to full mount but Irons defends it. Cobra missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Irons manages to get to full guard.
Cobra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Irons swivels though and keeps the full guard. Irons utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Irons is trying to keep Cobra in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Irons jabbing away but nothing is landing. Irons tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Irons lands a two punch combo.
Irons displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Left hook, right uppercut from Irons. Irons tests Cobra's chin there with a solid looking shot. Irons throws a jab when Cobra was well out of range. Irons misses with a few strikes there.
Cobra shoots in but Irons avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cobra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Irons is fending him off so far but Cobra persists. Nope, Irons circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Irons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Irons looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cobra is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Irons is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cobra wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Irons, who protects the arm well. Cobra is trying to get an arm triangle but Irons is defending well. Cobra working away. Irons manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cobra's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irons regains full guard. Nicely done. Irons looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cobra thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Irons escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cobra gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Irons has momentary wrist control but Cobra slips an elbow through the middle. Cobra lands a couple of digs. Irons is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cobra throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Irons's body to avoid the submission. Irons has instead reached around Cobra's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Irons arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
