The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horton doesn't manage to clinch there - Tessin circles away.
Tessin shoots for a double leg takedown but Horton sprawls well. He's pushed Tessin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Horton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tessin misses with a looping right.
Horton avoids the body shot from Tessin.
Horton throws a hook to the side of Tessin's head but Tessin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Horton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tessin's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tessin holds on and takes a little breather.

Horton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tessin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Horton is rocked!
Tessin ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Horton's jaw. Horton's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Tessin does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
