Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Strath More!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Johnson. Beautiful body shot.
Johnson throws a leg kick but More moved away.

More shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
More prevents Johnson from improving his position.
More trying to control from half guard but Johnson is working away.
Johnson wants to sweep but More has passed to side control!

You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Johnson tries to buck More off but More is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Johnson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, More asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. More was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

More is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

More has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Johnson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That was a close round but I would say that Bichael Johnson will probably get the nod.

Johnson wants to control the action here but instead More manages to pass to full mount!
More sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Johnson is trying to reverse the position but instead More has taken his back - oops!

More keeps control of the position as Johnson tries to break free.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - More's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

A close second round but Strath More will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Johnson loads up on a big right hand but More slips the punch.
More has his takedown stuffed

and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but More keeps working.
Johnson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because More is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
More is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it.

Johnson tries to stand but More is controlling his head.

More can't do much from the bottom here.
Bichael Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
More takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. More did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.

Johnson is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and More reverses the position - he's now on top in Johnson's guard.
More prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet.
Johnson has control of More's left arm, preventing More from doing any damage.
More trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.

Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson trying to keep a closed guard but More is proving a slippery customer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

More gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
